About Us

The Extraordinary Ministers are members of the parish community commissioned to assist the Clergy in the distribution of the Holy Eucharist at Mass.       

Volunteer Position: Extraordinary Minister

Required of Volunteer: Registered parishioner and a practicing Catholic.

Training Required: Provided by the parish.

Time Commitment: Arrive 15 minutes before Mass.

Meeting Dates

The Diocese of St. Petersburg gives initial training sessions for this ministry twice a year � in January and September, and at Light of Christ as needed.
