The Parish Pastoral Council
(PPC) is a representative body of men and women from all areas of our
parish community. Its primary role is to serve as a consultative and
advisory board to the pastor in all matters which ensure implementation
of the parish mission statement. All ministries and activities of the
parish are grouped under one of seven commissions and each commission is
represented on the parish pastoral council.
The commissions are: Worship
and Liturgy; Spiritual Growth and Renewal; Christian Outreach and
Pastoral Care; Parish Community; Youth Religious Education and
Activities; Stewardship; and Finance and Administration. In addition, a
Communications and Technology Ministry supports all activities of the
PPC and the parish.
The PPC
members include the following: the Pastor, the
Deacons, nine (9) at large parish representatives (active parishioners in
good standing) appointed by the pastor that may serve up to six years as
well as representatives of the following activities and programs;
Finance Council, Stewardship Program, Parish Coordinator of Support
Services, Women's Guild, Catholic Men's Association and High School
Students. The PPC meets monthly with the exception of July and will
convene for special or emergency issues. The current officers are:
